  1. People are so reliant on their GP’s and believe anything they are told.

    As you mention, they are not prepared to do the leg work and get to the bottom of what is causing the condition in the first place. This is just a money-spinner for the GP. The more prescriptions the more commissions.

    I have said all along that big pharma is not interested in curing you because there is no money in it for them. They’d much prefer keeping you as a customer.

    Depression is like a fashion accessory nowadays because you hear about it all the time, but a very serious condition and one that needs sorting before it gets worse.

      Yes, I tend to agree, I’ve never really been a fan of medications, and I always feel that many drugs are made simply to make us come back for more and more.

      I know that I myself have fallen into a really black hole of a number of occasions, and the symptoms I typically show have been those of depression. I’m much the same as you, and although I did visit my GP about it once, I didn’t feel I was getting the help I deserved.

      So, as with most things, I decided to deal with it myself.
